NTA has opened NEET UG 2026 scribe registration portal for PwBD candidates. Students can submit their scribe details at neet.nta.nic.in before April 21, 2026. Submitting scribe details is important to ensure eligibility on exam day. 

The National Testing Agency has activated the online portal for candidates appearing in National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) 2026 to submit their scribe details. NTA has activated the scribe facility for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) who have asked to bring their own scribe for NEET UG 2026 exam. According to the notification, the application window for submitting scribe information is active until April 21, 2026 (11:50 PM). Candidates who fail to provide these details before the NEET 2026 scribe application last date may face difficulties at the examination centre. 

Steps to Apply for NTA NEET 2026 Scribe Details

Students have to follow below steps to submit scribe details for NEET 2026 exam: 

• Visit neet.nta.nic.in
• Login using application number and password.
• Click on 'Register Scribe Details'.
• Select correct option for scribe
• Enter details required
• Review all entries
• Check the ‘View Application Form’ section.

The NEET UG 2026 exam will be conducted on May 3, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The NTA has emphasized that students who are appearing in NEET UG 2026 exam must read the information brochure carefully in case they are willing to take their scribe in the exam. The details of scribe will be mentioned in the NEET 2026 admit card for students who will bring their scribe.
