Maharashtra NEET UG 2026 CAP Round 1 registration is open for MBBS and BDS admissions. Eligible candidates can apply until August 12 and must complete fee payment and document verification.

The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell has opened the registration for the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) for MBBS and BDS admissions for 2026-27. Eligible candidates can apply until August 12, 2026.

Admissions to government, government-aided, municipal, private unaided and other notified medical and dental colleges will be based on the NEET UG 2026 merit.

Maharashtra NEET UG 2026 CAP Round 1: Important dates

• Online registration and application: August 6 to August 12, 2026, till 11:59 PM
• Registration fee payment: August 6 to August 13, 2026, till 11:59 PM
• Document upload: August 6 to August 13, 2026, till 11:59 PM
• Document verification: August 7 to August 14, 2026
• Registered candidates list: August 15, 2026
• Provisional merit list: August 15, 2026

Only students who have qualified for NEET UG 2026 for MBBS or BDS are allowed to take part in this counselling process.

Candidates must complete the registration online and upload all required documents in the correct format. They should also check the application form carefully to make sure all information is accurate.

Students choosing physical document verification must visit the assigned centre on the given date with their original documents.

“It will be the sole responsibility of the candidate to upload all the necessary documents within the given period; failure to upload the requisite documents within the given schedule may lead to non-granting of the claim or cancellation of the form,” the official notice states.
