The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) may announce the NEET PG 2026 result today on its official website, although the board has not confirmed the exact result date or time. Candidates who appeared for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduates will be able to check their results and download the result PDF through the NBEMS website. The expected announcement has created anxiety among students, with several candidates turning to social media to seek clarity on when the results will be released. NEET PG 2026 has also been trending on X as students await the result.

Candidates qualifying through NEET PG will be eligible to participate in counselling for admission to MD and MS programmes, subject to applicable eligibility requirements. The qualifying threshold is 50th percentile for candidates in the unreserved category, 40th percentile for SC, ST and OBC candidates, and 45th percentile for unreserved candidates with benchmark disability. Students have been urging authorities to announce the results at the earliest, saying timely declaration would help them prepare for the subsequent counselling and admission process, according to a Shiksha report.
