About AL-AZHAR DENTAL COLLEGE

The college was established in the year 2007, under the aegis of Noorul Islam trust and is affiliated to MG University, Kottayam. Presently it has been affiliated to KUHS, Thrissur. The Dental council of India has recognised UG and given approval for commencing PG programs in Oral medicine & Radiology, Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Orthodontics, Pedodontics, Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics and Prosthodontics.

About PROF.DR SHINY JOSEPH

Professor Dr. Shiny Joseph completed her graduation and post-graduation from Government Dental College Calicut. She worked as a Senior Lecturer in Government Dental College Kottayam from 2008-2010. She joined Al Azhar dental college as Senior Lecturer in January 2010. She was promoted as Reader in December 2012 and as Professor in December 2017. She has various national and international publications to her credit. She is the Co-coordinator of NAAC cell and Women’s Cell Coordinator of Al Azhar Dental College. She has attended various national conferences.
