The core inception ideology that led to the establishment of Institute of Dental Studies and Technologies (IDST) by Late Padmashree Dr. L. K. Gandhi was to create a leading dental education institute that provides a transformative education experience to create leaders and innovators, and generates new knowledge for society . The core values adopted by the Institute as enduring principles are what makes IDST distinct.Since its founding year 2001 the college has been committed to excellence in education, patient care, research and community services.

Over the years, I have seen the institution expand manifold, with students from all the parts of the country getting enrolled. The dedicated faculty strives on academic development and all-round personal growth of the students.
