Dr. Sanjeev Tyagi graduated in dentistry (BDS) from the P.M.N.M. Dental College & Hospital, Bagalkot and secured his master’s degree (MDS) from the same institution, specializing in Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics He started teaching in a dental college since 2001.He joined Peoples Dental Academy, Bhopal in 2004.Since then, he has been heading the Department of Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics, later as Vice-Dean and currently serving as the Dean of the Institution.

Dr. Tyagi has been actively involved in the professional organizations as holding the position of Vice president-IACDE, Vice President IDA-Bhopal, Former EC member IES, Former Chairman, Board of Studies, Peoples University. Associate Editor for People’s Journal of Scientific Research, Conference Secretary of 16th IACDE-IES PG Convention held in Bhopal, 2016 & Co-ordinating Secretary of 1st central zone IACDE PG conference held in Indore, 2018.Having various national and international publications, he is actively involved in academic activities too.He has received ‘Academician of the year award’ and “Best Teacher award” in the year 2019 and 2018 respectively
