Established in 1991, the Government Dental College and Hospital, Jamnagar is a premier public dental institution in Gujarat, founded to address the growing need for high-quality dental education and affordable oral healthcare. Affiliated with Saurashtra University and recognized by the Dental Council of India (DCI), the college has spent over three decades establishing itself as a leader in dental sciences within the Saurashtra and Kutch regions. The institute is dedicated to excellence in teaching, research, and patient care, serving a vast population of approximately 1.5 to 2 crore people as the only academic government dental hospital in the area.
