Himachal Institute of Dental Sciences (Dental College, Paonta Sahib) is duly recognized by Dental Council of India, New Delhi/Govt. of India and affiliated to Govt. University namely Atal Medical and Research University, HImachal Pradesh. Himachal Institute of Dental Sciences is only Institute in Himachal Pradesh having intake capacity of 100 seats in BDS Course also 29 seats in MDS Course in different 7 specialities due to its infrastructure and facilities. Students pursuing the Bachelor’s degree in Dentistry – BDS, are trained in Basic sciences, and are exposed to all 9 specialities of dentistry. This program concludes with a comprehensive overview of Dentistry enabling you to pursue your career as a general dentist.
Students seeking further specialization in their chosen field are welcome to apply into our MDS Program which is available in Periodontics, Orthodontics, Prosthodontics, Pedodontics, Endodontics, Oral Pathology, Oral Surgery.
