Maitri College of Dentistry & Research Centre, an unaided private college, was founded in Anjora in 2005, by the Founder Secretary, Hon’ble MR RAJESH JAIN, under the aegis of Maitri Educational Society Since its inception, the college has created a niche as one of the premier institutes of Dental education in the region. Affiliated to Pandit Deendayal Upadhayay Health Sciences and AYUSH University (Raipur). The college is recognised by Dental Council of India, New Delhi. There are numerous achievements to the credit of our college, and it enjoys a reputation of center of academic excellence. This was possible only due to the vision of Rajesh Jain, who thinks that, “A nation where the best of healthcare is available to all citizens of India” is the key to achieve “VISION 2030” as perceived by the former President of India, respected Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam.

About DR. PRADEEP BABU KOMMI

Maitri College of Dentistry and Research Centre, a premier educational institution in the central Indian region, was established is the year 2005. The institution is successfully running BDS, MDS in 7 specialties, Dental technician and Dental hygienist programs, with recognition from the Dental Council of India, affiliated to Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Memorial health science and Ayush University Raipur, Chhattisgarh.

BDS program has a seat input of 100 and 23 in MDS, in the specialties of Oral medicine & Radiology, Prosthodontics, Crown & Bridge, Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics, Oral Pathology & Microbiology, Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopedics, Pedodontics with Preventive Dentistry and Periodontics. Diploma course in dental technician and dental hygienist programs, have a yearly intake of 20, each. Till date 15 batches of BDS, 11 of MDS, 7 of dental hygienist and 7of dental technician program have passed out.

Students in these programs have joined from nearly all the states in the country. Located in serene, pristine, pollution free environment in Anjora, Durg. The campus is self- sufficient, providing all the facilities required for a modern, holistic living. With multiple parks, playgrounds, a Supermart and cafeteria, along with a robust academic and clinical infrastructure, provide ample opportunities for healthy, physical and emotional development.
