PDM DENTAL COLLEGE AND RESEARCH INSTITUTE

Dr. Mandeep Singh Virdi, BDS, MDS, received his graduate and post-graduate dental education at AB Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences in Mangalore, Karnataka State, India. He received his first degree from the Mangalore University, and his postgraduate degree from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka. Dr. Virdi is presently the DEAN and Head of Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry at Faculty of Dental Sciences, PDM University in Sarai Aurangabad, Bahadurgarh, Haryana, India. He is an active member of the Indian Society of Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry, Indian Dental Association (IDA), and an affiliate member of the American Dental Association, and has been the President of West Delhi IDA. He is presently also Executive Member of DCI, Haryana.

He has guided numerous postgraduate students in the subject of Pediatric Dentistry with Thesis topic ranging from clinical to epidemiological studies. Many of the studies done under his supervision are published in various National and International Journals.  Among other academic activities he has also been member of Board of Studies for both Graduate and Postgraduate levels and has also conducted various exams and inspections for different universities and Dental Council of India throughout the country.
