Postgraduate Institute of Dental Sciences (Govt. Dental College and Hospital, Rohtak) is a premier dental institute in the country offering quality dental education to undergraduate as well as postgraduate students since 1981. The Institute comes under the aegis of Government of Haryana and Pt. B. D. Sharma University of Heath Sciences, Rohtak. It has well known throughout India for its impeccable patient care and quality dental education. This Institute is running B.D.S. with 100 admissions per year and M.D.S. in 9 specialties; Conservative Dentistry, Prosthodontics, Pedodontics, Orthodontics, Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Periodontics, Public health Dentistry, Oral Pathology and Oral Medicine and Radiology with intake of 33 MDS students per year. Besides this, it is also running Dental Hygienist, Dental Mechanic courses and P.G. Certificate course in Oral Implantology and P. G. certificate course in Endodontics. PGIDS, Rohtak also offers fellowship courses in Micro-endodontics, Implantology, Maxillofacial Prosthetics, Maxillofacial Traumas, Forensic Odontology and Maxillofacial Prosthesis
